We have so many reasons and we think we know better about Cooking Oil. Such as of us are used to accept butter instead of Cooking Oil. So let’s get educated on how to choose better cooking oil, for a healthier and a longer life.

Mainly our attention should be lead towards extra-virgin oil. So called negative effect of cholesterol on our body is basically done by the level of LDL and HDL cholesterol in our body. Lower the amount of LDL cholesterol and higher the amount of HDL cholesterol, the healthier it will be. Olive oil is said to adjust these levels to the optimum level. Unlike in normal olive oil, in the case of extra-virgin oil, the antioxidant content present in it is very much helpful for the better performance of the heart. That is the reason why extra-virgin oil is mainly recommended as a Cooking Oil that is favorable for your health.

The smoke point of a Cooking Oil is very important to healthy cooking. The smoke point of oil is the temperature at which the smoke starts to emit smoke. After passing this temperature limit, Cooking Oil tends to break the molecular structures of its nutritious compounds. And also there is a very high risk of forming potentially dangerous and toxic substances due to high heat applied. Therefore the need of a Cooking Oil with a high smoke point is very important. Canola Oil is the ideal cooking oil which fulfills all these requirements. In addition to that its neutral flavor is also a very important feature for a good Cooking Oil.

Not only Cooking Oil favorable for us, but there are Cooking Oil that should be avoided as much as possible. Soybean oil, most commonly known as soya oil is found to be the origin of every modern health issues occurring due to fat. Soya oil contains, omega 6 fat which is said to challenge the omega 3 fat which is the favorable fat leading us to deterioration of our health. Palm oil has also revealed recently that it contains an elevated amount of fatty acid which threatens the health of our heart directly. Therefore palm oil also falls into the category which we should skip for our better health.
